Morgan starred alongside other actors in the documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women, which focuses on AIDS prevention as well as education. A portion of the profits were given to American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is a member of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the main force in many fundraising campaigns to fight the disease. She also addressed an Congressional special committee on AIDS education. She sits part of the board of Governors of APLA and the Board of Directors of Amfar. She has been asked to replace the Surgeon General who was formerly C. Everett Koop at related events involving AIDS. Steve Bell, a news anchor, has also presented an AIDS Awareness Special. Ted Koppell has interviewed her twice about AIDS in Nightline. Morgan is nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially specifically for Morgan. She co-starred in the ABC television series Your Money or Your Wife alongside Joan Rivers. The summer was kicked off by Murder At The PTA Luncheon. Productions like Von Zerneck/Sertner also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. Her next film was Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan played the protagonist in a psychological thriller that was exclusively produced through the USA Network. It received one of the best ratings recorded in network history.
